"Klangstrahlen" is an audiovisual sound performance created as a bachelor's thesis at Augsburg University. In this performance, sound is visualized in an analog and direct manner. Modified cathode ray tube televisions produce complex Lissajous patterns that are generated live using modular synthesizers. The resulting images and sounds are unique and non-reproducible each time, creating an immersive experience. By combining improvised music and experimental visualization, the boundaries between sound and image blur, allowing the audience to dive into a constantly evolving performance.
